Platform-independent measurement software is ‘the first’

20 July, 2020

A German measurement technology specialist Delphin Technology has come up with a software product that, it claims, for the first time combines measurement technology functions with platform independence. The ProfiSignal 20 software allows data analyses and process visualisations to be viewed on smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs.

There are two versions of the software. The Basic version allows users to create customised visualisations and process control diagrams. It provides a range of control and monitoring elements which can be combined to create user-defined dashboards. An object designer simplifies the creation of complex projects as well as multiple projects with similar visualisations.

The Go version of the software is intended for fast visualisation, monitoring, analysis and archiving of measured data. As well as configurable and, when required, multi-axis y(t) diagrams, it also offers cascade diagrams that allow measurement data from multiple channels to be displayed simultaneously for instant comparison.

Also available are y(x) diagrams for analysing correlations between measured variables. Hardware-based calculation routines enable fast switching between live and historical data, as well as smooth zoom functions. There are also powerful statistical functions for data analysis.

Delphin's ProfiSignal 20 software allows data analyses and process visualisations to be viewed on smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs.

A function called Scach scans QR codes on a smartphone or tablet to allow machine data and visualisations to be shown on the device’s display.
