Rockwell appoints Dennison to run sales in UK and Ireland
Rockwell Automation has announced the appointment of Bill Dennison as its new sales director for UK and Ireland. He has previously held senior positions in Honeywell International (in both EMEA and global roles), as well working for several specialist software companies in the process, oil and gas markets.
Rockwell Automation’s former managing director for UK and Ireland, Dominic Molloy, is now focusing on his role as its marketing director for the EMEA region.
Dennison says he is excited by Rockwell’s offering and by the opportunity to help expand the company’s presence in the UK and Ireland. “I’ve very much enjoyed the senior business development roles I’ve held in controls-based and software-based companies before,” he says, “and the Rockwell Automation global reputation and extensive market-leading safety offering is a fantastic platform for growth – I’m looking forward to the challenge immensely.”
Marcel Woiton, Rockwell’s sales director for Northern Europe, adds that Dennison’s “insight into the operational needs of our customers across multiple industries, with particular expertise in software and process solutions, alongside his track record in business development, made him the stand-out candidate to take us forward in the UK & Ireland.”
In the year to October 2014, Rockwell Automation achieved a global growth rate of more than 4%, and is predicting similar growth for the coming year.
