Safety specialist EJA merges its operations

EJA Engineering, the Wigan-based machine safety specialist bought a year ago by Rockwell, is combining the previously separate sales and manufacturing operations for its three brands: Guardmaster; Sigma/Prosafe; and Nelsa.

"This reorganisation is about growth," asserts EJA chief executive John Oliver. "We want to become more effective in serving our customers and focus EFA on global growth opportunities. Previously each EJA brand was a separate company with its own sales force, functional support staff and operations departments.

A single, expanded sales team will now sell all EJA products. EJA will continue to operate independently in Rockwell Automation`s industrial control group as an extension of its presence-sensing business.
