Managers take over at Astralux

The managers of Astralux Dynamics, the switching and interconnection specialist based in Brightlingsea, Essex, have bought the company from the venture capitalist Vector Industries. The new owners are managing director Geoff Earl (below, right) and financial director John Woodrow (left)

.

Astralux, which employs around 50 people working in a 2,500m² plant, will continue to be operate as before. Astralux was founded in 1948 by an entrepeneur, Freddie Williams, who initially manufactured scent sprays. Later the company developed into an electronics engineering business. It now produces control porducts, switcfhing devices and telecommunications interconnection equipment and components.
