Since the start of 2010, around 60 companies have booked to exhibit at the MACH manufacturing technologies exhibition, which will run alongside the Drives & Controls show at the NEC in June. The new bookings add 1,200m² of stand space to the show which is now almost 90% full, according to its organiser, the Manufacturing Technologies Association.

The surge in bookings comes as MTA surveys suggest a more positive picture for the industry with companies reporting increases in order books. “As industry confidence picks up, we are becoming increasingly confident that MACH 2010 could actually be the best exhibition we`ve put on so far,” says the MTA’s exhibition organiser, Graham Shearsmith.
