    We recently successfully established a new sales, technical support and distribution facility in the Midlands to serve the UK and Ireland markets. Owing to significant growth and expansion plans we are now seeking to appoint a new Regional Sales Manager to our team

    The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) reports directly to the National Sales Manager of Apex Dynamics Ltd


    • Directly responsible for the Company’s sales activities and achievement of sales budgets in the Northern UK Region
    • Achievement of the business growth and sales gross margin objectives is to be based on the recruitment and retention of a network of distributors and resellers and direct sales to key OEM customers. The RSM will have primary responsibility for achievement of these growth objectives.
    • The RSM ensures the Company is consistently and appropriately represented in the Northern UK market for Servo Gearboxes
    • The RSM will have input to the Company’s marketing activities and will be the main public and client spokesperson for the organisation in the Northern Region
    • RSM has a key input to the business’s strategic direction and planning
    • The RSM will assist in performing all tasks necessary to achieve the organisation's strategic growth plans in the Northern Region and help implement project plans.
    • Principal Accountabilities:
    • Achievement of the business growth and sales gross margin objectives in the Northern Region
    • Ensure our Apex Dynamics is appropriately represented at conferences and exhibitions in the Northern Region
    • Input into the content of marketing materials
    • Ensuring that the corporate CRM database is kept updated for the Northern Region
    • Ensuring that the Sales activities in the Region maintain Brand, logo and image integrity.
    • Internal communication of sales successes
    • Recommendation and recruitment of distributor and reseller representation in the Region in areas necessary for effective local presence, participation in negotiation of distributor terms and conditions
    • Carry out Sales targeted Market Research to identify new potential distributor, reseller and OEM customer opportunities.
    • Providing the National Sales Manager with sales information for reporting to Board Meetings on progress and plans

    Graduate in mechanical engineering preferred

    Qualifications and Experience
    The successful candidate will be professional, self-motivated, energetic and enthusiastic with excellent mechanical, analytical, communication and inter-personal skills.

    3-5 years of experience in sales management / sales engineering for high quality products in motion- control and machine control applications

    Candidates should have a strong knowledge of:
    • Bearing Life calculations
    • Planetary Gearing / Motion Control Technology
    • General Machine Design
    • Microsoft Office / Excel
    • Precision Machining Drawings / Tolerance
    • 2-D / 2-D CAD system
